Here is the rank layout. Do NOT ask to be in any group other than "Member". The admins will decide whether or not to place a member in one of these other ranks. Ranks other than "Member" must be earned, unless decided otherwise with the consent of Cobalt∞Phoenix.
Staff
Administrator: The big cheese, The ultimate boss, The supreme ruler, Forum God! These members are the most powerful of all the members. They can make extreme changes to the entire forum (editing the layout and colors and html of the page). They can change the status of other members (promote/demote).
Note that the admins here are friendly and are not power hungry (but will not hesitate to discipline misbehaving members). If you have any problems, please come to one of us for help or speak to one of the other staff members, that's what we are here for.
Global Moderator: These members can do a lot more tasks than regular moderators. They have authority over all of the boards. They also have some administrator abilities. They also have the responsibility and right to arbitrate and enforce the terms of use. They can change the status of other members (promote/demote).
Moderator: They are responsible for the cleanliness of the forum. Moderators have the ability to close, move, delete threads within the boards that they are listed as moderator. They also have the responsibility and right to arbitrate and enforce the terms of use and to warn members of misconduct and if such actions continue, they will alert an administrator of member misconduct and the administrator will change the status of the misbehaving member (restricting, muting or banning the member).
Core Group
[Rank]~ (Core Group members & staff): These members are identified by the "~" beside their rank. These are special ranks. This ~ is reserved for core group members only. Members can only be placed in these ranks at the sole discretion of the core group members. Their rank stars are round instead of square or a member star (same number of stars), exception is: 5 stars for "Member~" instead of 1 star for "Member". Note: MEMBERS WITH A "~" OUT RANK MEMBERS OF THE SAME RANK WITHOUT THE "~"!!!
Non-Staff
Retired Staff: These members used to be staff members, but have retired with honors with this rank, they can move threads and bump them.
Elite Member: These members are very helpful to the community and/or staff, but are not mods nor staff. They are on their way to becoming a staff member one day. Elites have more privileges than regular members. They can move threads to the appropriate forum or category (if needed).
Member: The standard/default rank. Most user's will remain at this rank through out there time here. They can do the normal things a member should be able to do.
Banned Member: These are members who have demonstrated utter disregard for the rules and are therefore banned forever. If you are banned, you are not welcome back! Your IP address may also be banned.
